This poem was created at a poetry reading at Laurel Arts in Somerset on August 5, 2006.

Each member of the audience had to write down 2 words on a index card, and I created a poem, which  I
performed.  Thanks to our guests.

Help me. Have faith, love, and understanding

Today in Somerset
Naked men are talking on cell phones

Help me. Have faith, love, and understanding

Today in Somerset
Avoid the void!
Avoid hobbled campers!

Help me. Have faith, love, and understanding

Today in Somerset
There are hot flowers.
Charismatic kids

Today in Somerset
Everyone has fire batons, Steelers mania, and
anchovies.

Today in Somerset
We are on the threshold of the sun.
In the hind end of the sky.
